Brent Winslow focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and critical motions and appeals. Prior to joining the firm, Brent clerked for the Honorable Joan L. Larsen, the Honorable Stephanie Dawkins Davis, and the Honorable Elizabeth T. Clement.

Brent maintains an active pro bono practice, particularly in areas of criminal justice. During law school, he participated in Michigan’s Federal Appellate Litigation Clinic, where he worked on habeas appeals for indigent defendants. Brent has also assisted Winston’s pro bono clients in cases pending before the Federal Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and in an amicus brief filing at the U.S. Supreme Court.

Brent received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 2018. He received his B.A., with highest distinction, in political science and philosophy from The Pennsylvania State University in 2015.
