Jaime focuses her practice on employee benefits matters, with specific emphasis on counseling clients in maintaining legally compliant retirement benefits programs.

With over 20 years of experience, Jaime is keenly aware of the legal challenges clients face in having to provide valuable retirement benefits and the demands HR departments face daily.  Jaime has extensive experience in a wide range of employee benefit concerns including pension de-risking initiatives and negotiated benefit changes. Jaime also has experience negotiating severance and early retirement programs for employees and helped clients prepare claim and appeal responses, as well as denial of retirement benefits for longstanding employees.

Jaime received her J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif, received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award (Employee Benefits, Legal Writing, Torts, and Criminal Law), and was a member of the Chicago-Kent Law Review. She received her B.A. from the University of Michigan.
