Ben is an accomplished antitrust attorney who brings significant government and private practice experience to complex investigations and litigation. He most recently served as Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, where he advised senior leadership on civil enforcement across sectors such as defense, transportation, energy, agriculture, and telecommunications. At DOJ he oversaw the Section 8 enforcement program and contributed to major cases, including United States v. Visa and United States v. Amex GBT, et al.

- Advised DOJ Antitrust Division leadership on investigation strategy, enforcement decisions, and cross-agency coordination in matters spanning defense, transportation, energy, and agriculture.
- Shaped DOJ policy projects and public messaging.
- Oversaw the Division's Section 8 interlocking directorates program, counseling on compliance and driving enforecment actions.
- Contributed to major civil matters, including United States v. Visa and United States v. Amex GBT, et al., supporting core briefing and case development.
- Led investigations in the Media, Entertainment, and Communications Section, including a high-profile matter involving NCAA rules and a complex ed-tech platform merger.

- Handles document CIDs, issued subpoenas, negotiated CID and subpoena compliance, deposed and interviewed witnesses, made enforcement recommendations, delivered internal briefings, and brought complaints.
