Samantha focuses her practice on a broad range of litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a law clerk to Hon. Harry T. Edwards of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and Hon. Dale E. Ho of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Samantha has a diverse background in complex litigation, having served as an Equal Justice Works Legal Fellow at the ACLU Voting Rights Project prior to completing her two clerkships. While at the ACLU, Samantha led a project to end prison-based gerrymandering and maintained an active docket protecting voting rights by combatting voter suppression and ensuring that enacted district maps were fair.

Education

Samantha earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2020, where she was a Root-Tilden-Kern Scholar and Editor-in-Chief for The NYU Review of Law & Social Change. She is a recipient of the school’s Dean John Sexton, Ann Petluck Poses Memorial, and Journal Stewardship awards. She received her B.A. in urban studies and English from the University of Pennsylvania in 2014, graduating with summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and Civic Scholar distinctions. Samantha is a former Fulbright Scholar.
