Charlotte is an associate in the International Arbitration and Litigation team. Her practice covers international commercial arbitration, investment treaty arbitration and complex disputes.  

 

 

Qualified in England and Wales and admitted to the Paris Bar, Charlotte has acted in arbitration proceedings under various institutional rules (including ICSID, ICC, LCIA, DIAC, and CAS). She represents clients in a wide range of sectors, such as energy, technology, healthcare and sports.

Key Matters

  • Acting for a Canadian publicly-listed mining company in an ICSID arbitration against the Republic of Panama initiated under the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement relating to the company’s investment in a mining concession.  
  • Acting for a publicly-listed mining company in ICSID annulment proceedings.
  • Acting for a U.S. mining company in an ICC arbitration in New York initiated by a Middle Eastern refinery, arising from a supply agreement.
  • Acting in a multi-billion euro arbitration under DIFC-LCIA Rules arising out of an English law-governed shareholders’ agreement in connection with a claim brought by the subsidiary of one of the world’s leading online food delivery groups.
  • Acting for two heirs of a private bank in Geneva in a high-value, ad hoc bilingual (English and French) arbitration against the former partners of the private bank.
  • Acting in an LCIA arbitration and ancillary litigation proceedings in the British Virgin Islands and Delaware, arising out of a billion-dollar project consisting of the construction, development, and operation of a luxury resort and marina in the Bahamas.
  • Acting for elite athlete before the Court of Arbitration for Sport in a gender discrimination case.
  • Advising elite athlete in connection with alleged anti-doping violations.
  • Acting for a listed company in the context of appeal proceedings before the Competition Appeal Tribunal following a high-profile regulatory investigation.

Credentials

Education

Charlotte received her B.A. in International Relations (First Class Honours) from King’s College London in 2017, and received her Master’s in Economic Law from Sciences Po Paris Law School in 2020. She completed her Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Law School in 2021, and her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in 2022, achieving a Distinction in both.
