Matt Jimenez

Matt joined the firm after serving as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Hon. Franklin U. Valderrama of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He previously clerked for the Hon. Jeannice Williams Appenteng on the same court.

Matt served as an Assistant Public Defender in the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, managing a predominantly misdemeanor caseload and representing indigent clients in a variety of criminal proceedings. His experience includes trying bench trials, advocating for clients at bond, plea, and sentencing hearings, and negotiating plea agreements with prosecutors.

Matt has also served as a judicial clerk to the Hon. Todd E. Edelman of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
