As a structured finance associate in Winston’s Los Angeles office, Angel regularly represents financial institutions, asset managers, and other finance companies in connection with a variety of structured finance transactions, including securitizations, whole loan sales and purchases, warehouse facilities, revolving and subscription facilities, asset-backed and secured financings, and other structured financings.

Angel’s structured finance experience involves a diverse range of both esoteric and residential asset classes, including commercial and residential property assessed clean energy (C-PACE and R-PACE) assets, digital and crypto-related infrastructure assets, consumer loans, credit card receivables, home improvement loans, residential transition loans (RTL), and closed-end second lien (CES) mortgages.

In addition to his structured finance capabilities, Angel also frequently represents corporate clients in high-stakes transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital, with his industry specialization spanning coverage of the crypto, technology, software, precision manufacturing, aerospace and defense, industrial services, healthcare, professional services, and consumer spaces.
