Ariel is an experienced litigator who concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation.

Ariel represents a variety of clients in matters involving complex commercial litigation, international arbitration, and government investigations. He previously served as senior attorney for a national advocacy group, where he litigated novel claims in state and federal courts throughout the country. His work has resulted in several groundbreaking decisions, including the first federal court order recognizing animals as legal persons outside of mere dicta. He leverages his experience developing new legal theories to secure favorable results for his clients.

  • Represented a U.S. television sports channel in federal court litigation arising out of its competitors’ bribery of South American soccer officials to obtain the broadcasting rights to international soccer tournaments.
  • Represented Puerto Rico’s largest city in connection with a variety of cases arising out of Puerto Rico’s debt restructuring process under the Puerto Rico Oversight, Management, and Economic Stability Act (PROMESA).

Ariel earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2017, where he was a recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and member of the Latino Law Student Association. He received his B.A. in Government from Reichman University in 2014.
