Peter is a litigator with experience in all phases of the case cycle, taking matters from pre-investigation to judgement or settlement. His practice focuses primarily on complex commercial, securities, and bankruptcy litigations.

Peter’s industry experience includes representing clients in the financial services, private equity, media, insurance, technology, retail, and entertainment sectors.

Peter has served as the lead associate on multiple high-profile matters and has experience drafting dispositive motions and leading cases through complex discovery disputes. He has helped clients obtain victory during the preliminary injunction, summary judgment, and trial phase of his cases, as well as to secure favorable settlements.

Prior to joining the firm, Peter was a litigation associate at an international law firm based in New York.

  • Lead associate representing a shareholder of a life sciences corporation in an appraisal action that resulted in the court dismissing the corporation’s affirmative defenses to deny appraisal rights, thereby preserving the client’s claim.
  • Lead associate representing a large bank in a proposed class action alleging improper funds transfers, leading to negotiations that secured a favorable settlement for the client.
  • Lead associate representing a media company suing a former executive for violating restrictive covenants and misappropriating trade secrets, securing a preliminary injunction and favorable settlement.

Education

Peter received his B.A., summa cum laude, in History with a minor in Political Science from The George Washington University in 2014. He received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2017, where he served as the President of Penn Law’s Council of Student Representatives during his 3L year.
