Kseniya is an experienced disputes resolutions attorney, representing a wide-range of clients in complex international commercial and investment arbitrations, as well as English and off-shore litigation, having received her first individual Legal 500 ranking in as a “key advisor” for Winston & Strawn in 2018. Her practice focuses on complex cross-border financial and shareholding structures, disputes on joint ventures and foreign investments, as well as large infrastructure projects, including oil and gas pipelines.

Kseniya has over 15 years’ experience covering a broad range of contentious matters, as well as general commercial matters.

She has significant experience advising major banking and financial institutions, manufacturing and supply clients, as well as private individuals in high-value complex commercial international litigation and arbitration, as well as in bilateral investment treaty cases. She has been involved in a broad range of matters, in particular involving allegations of gross breaches of commercial contracts, misuse of funds, misappropriation of assets and shareholder disputes in general.

Kseniya’s fluency in four languages (English, Russian, Spanish, and French), has proven many times to be an invaluable and difficult-to-find asset for an international practice. Kseniya has represented clients from multiple jurisdictions such as the United Kingdom, Russia, India, Dubai, Switzerland, the United States, China, Nigeria, the Netherlands, Haiti, and the Bahamas. In addition to her experience with English high court litigation and international arbitration administered under ICC, LCIA, HKCIA, SCC, and ICSID rules, she has also represented clients in pleadings in the Cayman Islands, BVI, and The Bahamas.

Kseniya has also represented clients in injunctive proceedings, in particular relating to freezing injunctions, and has a particular interest in issues relating to fraud and money laundering, as well as the UK Bribery Act.
