Chris focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and venture capital investments.

Chris is an associate in the firm’s Chicago office where he focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and general corporate matters.

Chris began his career working on venture capital (having served as lead counsel on more than 100 venture financings) and M&A transactions for Silicon Valley clients and over the years he has amassed a broad range of legal, business, and technology expertise enabling him to provide sophisticated counsel to private equity firms, venture capital firms and venture backed companies.

Chris is a mechanical engineer with an MBA and 10 years of experience at a multinational consumer goods corporation where he managed the largest portion of its skin care business. During law school, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Ronald M. Whyte of the US District Court for the Northern District of California. Chris also interned at an international law firm as a member of the firm's Patent Litigation Department. There, he focused on post-grant oppositions before the European Patent Office.
