Mason is a litigation associate in Winston’s Washington D.C. office. He utilizes his background in legal research, policy analysis, and public service to assist clients with a variety of litigation matters.

Mason previously served as a legal intern for the Office of the White House Counsel in the Executive Office of the President in 2024. While there, he gained exposure and insight into the decision-making processes of the Executive Branch. He drafted legal memoranda on a variety of matters to provide initial recommendations for supervising WHCO attorneys and the White House policy councils.  

Mason also served as a Summer Intern in the Constitutional Torts Section of the U.S. Department of Justice's Civil Division in 2023, where he prepared legal memoranda for DOJ staff attorneys on issues including Bivens and FTCA tort claims, federal civil procedure, and state tort law, and assisted in reviewing and revising drafted motions and internal case deliberations. Prior to law school, he gained experience in policy research, communications, and political strategy working across several organizations in Virginia.

Mason maintains an active pro bono practice and served as a Winston Pro Bono Fellow for the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless.

Mason earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2025. At UVA, he served on the editorial board of the Journal of Law and Politics. He received his B.A., magna cum laude phi beta kappa, from the College of William & Mary in 2019.
