Winston Wins Dallas Bar Association Award for Outstanding Work in Support of Local Habitat for Humanity Initiative

Winston & Strawn’s Dallas office won the Dallas Bar Association’s (DBA) Judge Merrill Hartman Support Award for their ongoing work on behalf of the Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity (DAHH). Our team received the award for their outstanding work supporting the DBA Home Project initiative.

The DBA Home Project is starting its 35th year, making the DBA the longest running whole house sponsor for the DAHH. Each spring, the initiative partners with the DAHH to sponsor and build a new home for a local family in need. The Dallas Home Project brings together attorneys, legal assistants, judges, court reporters, and others in the legal community who volunteer their time, money, and effort to this vital cause.

Senior Paralegal and the Dallas Office’s Winston for Good Leader Danielle Sloan championed Winston’s involvement. “For the past several years, Winston for Good Dallas has been proud to support the Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity through the Dallas Bar Association’s Home Project," she said. "Receiving the Judge Merrill Hartman Support Award is a meaningful honor, and our team remains committed to giving back through both financial support and hands-on build days that help make homeownership possible in our community.”

The Winston team was honored at the DBA’s Annual Awards & Court Staff Luncheon on November 21, 2025.
