Winston Team Highlighted in Litigator of the Week Column

A Winston & Strawn team led by Partner David Enzminger was featured in the Litigator of the Week column by The Am Law Litigation Daily on October 14, 2022.

The team was honored for winning summary judgment for client Electronic Arts in a long-running patent suit brought by Acceleration Bay involving the multiplayer technology used in EA’s hit FIFA, NHL, and Plants v. Zombies videogames. U.S. District Judge Richard Andrews in Delaware last week found that Acceleration Bay’s infringement theories were barred based on his prior grant of summary judgment of non-infringement in a case against separate Winston gaming clients—a ruling that was upheld by the Federal Circuit.
