Winston Supports Servicemembers Legal Defense Network

On September 20, 2011, Winston & Strawn joined in a nationwide celebration marking the official repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (DADT). The Servicemembers Legal Defense Network (SLDN) led this Repeal Day Celebration. SLDN is a non-partisan, non-profit, legal services watchdog and policy organization dedicated to ending discrimination against and harassment of military personnel affected by DADT. They work to end DADT, to ensure parity for LGBT service members, and to provide free, confidential legal services to all those impacted by DADT and related discrimination.
