Winston & Strawn sponsored the USC Gould School of Law 2012 Intellectual Property Institute held March 15, 2012 in Los Angeles. Litigation partner David Enzminger also served on the planning committee for this event.

Seven federal judges spoke at this event, including keynote speaker, Chief Judge Randall R. Rader (Fed. Cir.) Topics included appellate advocacy, practical patent damages issues, the first sale doctrine, a review of the law of ideas and the submission of ideas, the entertainment industry and social networking media, and the new Internet infrastructure and trademark rights protections.
