Winston & Strawn Receives 2015 Harris County Bench Bar Pro Bono Award

Winston & Strawn was honored by the Houston Bar Association for outstanding pro bono work in Houston at the 2015 Bench Bar Pro Bono Awards Ceremony on April 30, 2015.

Winston was selected as the recipient of the 2015 Harris County Bench Bar Pro Bono Award in the mid-size firm category. A committee made up of judges and attorneys selected the award winners based on outstanding contributions to pro bono legal services during 2014.

In the past year, Winston’s Houston-based lawyers have secured numerous successes for pro bono clients, including a lesbian high school student who was “outed” by her coaches and an Iraq War veteran who was discriminated against for his service dog.
