Winston & Strawn IP Practice Recognized in 2014 “IAM Patent 1000” Ratings

Intellectual Asset Management Magazine, an internationally reported and distributed publication in the intellectual property field, published its third annual worldwide Patent 1000 ratings on June 3, 2014. Winston & Strawn and 19 of its attorneys were honored in the feature, which identifies the world's leading patent practitioners.

On a firm-wide level, Winston & Strawn was one of only 21 patent litigation practices recommended nationally in the U.S., with the firm's Illinois, Texas, California, London, New York, and Washington, D.C. offices receiving rankings. Winston & Strawn was called a “national litigation powerhouse” that “is home to an extensive bench of first-chair patent litigators.”

The rankings note the recent growth of the firm’s IP practice through lateral hiring of top ITC litigators in Washington, D.C. and the opening of a Silicon Valley office, saying, “Winston & Strawn’s continued upwards trajectory has been a talking point among the movers and shakers of the patent litigation world.”

Winston & Strawn’s IP practice was a finalist for The American Lawyer's 2014 "IP Litigation Department of the Year" and was recently named to the National Law Journal’s Intellectual Property Hot List for the third year in a row.
