Winston & Strawn Awarded M&A Asset Deal of the Year by Power Finance & Risk

Power Finance & Risk named the 800 MW Linden Cogen deal M&A Asset Deal of the Year as part of their 2014 Deals & Firms of the Year Awards. The awards recognize excellence and innovation in the power project finance industry in 2013. Winston & Strawn was counsel to Highstar Capital in its acquisition of a 50% interest in the Linden Cogeneration Plant from GE Energy Financial Services. The Winston team was led by Jonathan Birenbaum, who concentrates his practice on acquisitions and dispositions, principally in the energy and infrastructure sectors, and project finance. The team also included partner Bill Lang.
