Winston & Strawn Adds Two More Attorneys to Corporate Group on West Coast

Daniel Passage and Francisco Flores Join Firm’s Los Angeles Office

LOS ANGELES, CA (February 12, 2014) - Winston & Strawn LLP has announced that Daniel Passage has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office as partner from Bingham McCutchen’s structured transactions group. Francisco Flores joins Winston & Strawn along with Mr. Passage, as of counsel to the firm. The two additions bring the number of transactional attorneys who have joined Winston’s Los Angeles office in the past year to seven, and comes on the heels of the hiring of private equity attorney Eva Davis from Kirkland & Ellis.

Mr. Passage has received national recognition for his work structuring programs and transactions involving the origination, financing, and securitization of novel asset classes. He advises issuers and underwriters in public offerings and private placements of equity, debt, and convertible securities. Mr. Passage has handled offerings listed on European and Asian securities exchanges, as well as those denominated and payable in foreign currencies, and offerings utilizing offshore entities to achieve tax and other investment objectives.

In addition to the team’s structured products practice, Mr. Flores also handles cross-border transactions in Latin America. He has worked on convertible debt offerings for domestic and foreign corporations.
