Winston & Strawn Adds Competition Team to London Office

Winston & Strawn’s London competition team was profiled in Global Competition Review’s article titled “Winston & Strawn picks up Dewey’s London antitrust team.” Peter Crowther, who leads the group, joins the firm along with five additional lawyers in London. The team offers a broad antitrust practice but specializes in litigation cases.

“In our new firm we offer a destination practice for competition law and related litigation in the EU,” says Mr. Crowther. “With a focused London presence that is not trying to be a full-service offering, we are also not a threat to other law firms in terms of obtaining referral and conflict work in the competition area, which I see as important for us. We aim to build a first rate practice in London with a deep bench to handle any size of competition or related matter.”

Mr. Crowther also stated that the firm offered a “fantastic platform” for the group.
