Winston Sponsors NIJC’s 2019 Human Rights Awards

Winston & Strawn will sponsor the National Immigrant Justice Center’s (NIJC) 20th Annual Human Rights Awards luncheon on June 4, 2019, in Chicago. The event draws more than 1,000 attendees and provides critical funding for the NIJC to ensure that it can continue promoting human rights and access to justice for immigrants.

This year’s luncheon will feature a thought-provoking conversation among former NIJC clients who won asylum and other forms of legal protection. The discussion will be moderated by Julissa Arce, immigrant rights advocate and nationally best-selling author of My (Underground) American Dream.

Winston is a long-time supporter of the NIJC. Chicago Partner Ivan Poullaos serves as a member of its Leadership Board.
