Winston Sponsors ISBA’s Celebrating Women in the Profession Luncheon

Winston & Strawn sponsored the Celebrating Women in the Profession Luncheon, an Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) event held March 13, 2014 in Chicago.

Keynote speaker Professor Joan Williams of UC Hasting College of Law played a central role in reshaping the debate over women’s advancement for the past quarter-century. Described as having “something approaching rock star status” by The New York Times, Ms. Williams was awarded the American Bar Foundation’s Outstanding Scholar Award (2012), the ABA’s Margaret Brent Award for Women Lawyers of Achievement (2006), and an Outstanding Book Award for Unbending Gender: Why Family and Work Conflict and What to Do About It (2000).
