Winston & Strawn sponsored the Hispanic Bar Association of the District of Columbia's (HBA-DC) 2017 Equal Justice Awards Reception on November 3 in Washington, D.C. The annual awards brought together public interest law supporters and recognized individuals and organizations that have made extraordinary contributions to achieving equal justice on behalf of underserved causes and community members. Proceeds from the event support the HBA-DC and its members through professional development, mentoring, endorsements, job referrals, policy advocacy, as well as community support through legal clinics, education, and other activities.
