Winston Sponsors Equality NC Foundation Gala

Winston & Strawn sponsored the Equality NC Foundation Gala in Greensboro, North Carolina on November 9, 2013. Now in its seventh year, this premier statewide equality event – this year themed "A Celebration of Home" – brought LGBT North Carolinians and allies together for an evening celebration of state pride that set the stage for an unprecedented year of quality equality activism. North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper served as the keynote speaker. This year's Equality NC Foundation award recipients included Sen. Josh Stein (Jamie Kirk Hahn Ally Award), Rep. Tricia Cotham (Legislative Leadership Award), Janet Joyner (Bob Page Equality Champion Award), and Freedom Center for Social Justice (Organization of the Year Award), accepted by founder Bishop Tonyia Rawls.
