Winston Sponsors Business Law Training Series for Small Business Owners

In conjunction with the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center, Winston sponsored “How the Law Impacts Your Small Business: A Business Law Training Series for Small Business Owners.” This eight-part course was held October 6 through November 24, 2015, at the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

The program was designed for existing small business owners, including sole proprietors, business partnerships, general managers, and owners of limited liability corporations. Participants learned the basics of employment law, risk management, contracts, joint ventures, and accounting from experienced business attorneys.
