• 2023 will be a time of great uncertainty, but also of significant opportunity—especially for those who are willing to think creatively.
• Guidance from the IRS regarding new or expanded tax credits under the IRA (including the transferability of tax credits) will be a game-changer for the industry and will drive development decisions.
• Challenges remain with respect to energy storage, but a variety of business models could be successful, including storage paired with generation, stand-alone storage (either contracted or merchant), or storage as a transmission asset.  As one panelist remarked, storage is like bacon: it goes with everything.
