Winston Promotes Eight Attorneys to Partner

Winston & Strawn is pleased to announce that nine attorneys have been elected to partner. Spanning several practice areas and five offices, the promotions further our commitment to growth within our female and diverse attorney ranks. The following attorneys were promoted:

  • Jonathan Amoona (New York) regularly represents the National Football League Players Association and NFL players. He has served as counsel in some of the most significant sports legal matters in recent history and has successfully represented numerous athletes, players unions, sports agents, and agencies.
  • Bryce Cooper (Chicago) concentrates his practice on complex commercial disputes and intellectual property litigation. He has significant experience in all aspects of litigation in federal and state courts from discovery through trial and appeal.
  • Mike Gaddis (Dallas) practices complex business litigation, with a particular focus on trade secret litigation and qui tam/whistleblower litigation. He has represented public and closely held companies, as well as individuals, in areas such as trade secrets, business torts, breach of contract, copyright and trademark claims, employment disputes, and securities investigations.
  • Carrie Hardman (New York) concentrates her practice on financial restructuring and insolvency matters. She represents parties including debtors, committees, secured creditors, partners/equity interests, and trustees in all facets of the restructuring and insolvency process.
  • Diana Leiden (Los Angeles) has significant experience in copyright and trademark litigation, as well as litigating and counseling clients regarding the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and its application to emerging technology and Internet issues. She also has experience litigating high-profile, complex antitrust conspiracy and monopolization cases, and has particular knowledge in the mixed issues of antitrust and intellectual property law.
  • Matthew Saxon (Washington, D.C.) concentrates his practice on complex commercial disputes, involving financial institutions, and pharmaceutical companies. He has litigated and arbitrated a broad range of matters, including securities disputes, Rule 10(b)-5, Reg SHO, breach of fiduciary, product liability, mass torts, unfair competition claims, wire fraud, and FCPA.
  • Michael Skokna (Chicago) concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation, white-collar criminal defense, and corporate internal investigations. He has experience advising clients on a variety of contractual disputes, including breach of contract, breach of warranty, and the availability of contractual and UCC remedies.
  • Jordan Traister (New York), a member of the firm’s Corporate Department, represents arrangers, lenders and borrowers in connection with syndicated secured and unsecured credit facilities, including leveraged buyouts and other mergers and acquisitions.
