Winston Partner Speaks on Oil Spill Recovery Panel

Winston & Strawn maritime partner Charlie Papivizas, based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office, spoke during the "Oil Spill Recovery Panel" hosted by the Propeller Club of the United States on September 30, 2010.

The panel examined recent legislative and regulatory actions implemented as a result of the Deepwater Horizon and subsequent oil spill that may impact both traditional maritime activities and offshore energy development.

Joining Mr. Papvizas on the panel were Jeff Lewis with the Senate Commerce Committee, Carl Bentzel from DCI Group, LLC, and Robin Rorick of American Petroleum Institute.
