Yale Law Women (YLW) recently named Winston & Strawn in their 2020 Top Firms for Gender Equity & Family Friendliness Report as one of the “Top Firms for Advancement for Part-Time Attorneys.” This annual list aims to raise awareness of inequality within the legal profession and highlights the positive progress made each year. Their evaluation process is designed to reflect the fact that employees’ individual preferences and needs must be recognized in the pursuit of establishing equitable workplaces.

This honor is largely due to the ongoing efforts of Winston’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, a group rooted in the idea that all talented individuals should be able to envision and achieve long-term success. This inclusiveness also creates a stronger organization and produces the best results for our clients; although Winston as a whole is dedicated to fostering inclusion, the hard work and success of our attorneys who work a reduced hours schedule secured this designation.

This is YLW’s 15th Top Firms for Gender Equity & Family Friendliness Report. In addition to creating this comprehensive list, the organization broadly “seeks to advance the status of women and traditionally underrepresented gender identities at Yale Law School and in the legal profession at large.”
