Winston & Strawn hosted the Industrial Research Technology Institute’s (ITRI) Multi-Discipline Management of Technology (MMOT) Intellectual Property training program in our Washington, D.C. office April 20-22, 2015, and in our Silicon Valley office April 24, 2015. The ITRI-MMOT program is sponsored by Cornerstone IP Foundation of Taiwan with the support of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) of Taiwan. The program entails initial training in Taiwan followed by intensive training in the United States. The training covers the law and policy of intellectual property, the practices of technology transfer, and other business and marketing issues concerning technology management.

The following Winston & Strawn partners presented at the Washington, D.C. portion of the seminar:

  • Chuck Klein, chair of the complex commercial litigation practice, presented “Litigation in the Pharmaceutical Industry: An Introduction to ANDA Cases”

The following Winston partners presented at the Silicon Valley portion of the seminar:

  • David Enzminger, managing partner of the Silicon Valley office, made welcome remarks and introduced the speakers
  • Michael Wu moderated a funding panel featuring guest speakers from Mingxin China Growth, Silicon Valley Bank, and Andreessen Horowitz
