Winston Expands White Collar & Government Investigations Practice with Partners Anne Murray and Guy Singer

Washington, D.C. & New York – April 7, 2026 – Winston & Strawn LLP announced today that Anne Murray and Guy Singer have joined the firm’s Litigation Department as partners in its Washington, D.C. and New York offices respectively.
The two bring invaluable white collar defense, corporate investigations, and compliance experience to the firm’s White Collar & Government Investigations Practice. Both are seasoned white-collar defense and compliance attorneys, who represent companies and individuals in matters involving fraud, bribery, corruption, and ethics issues.
Anne helps clients navigate government investigations and advises on complex compliance and enforcement challenges across industries and jurisdictions. She is known for her work in the anti-corruption space, with deep Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) experience. Anne conducts internal investigations on behalf of companies or their boards into allegations related to bribery, corruption, accounting fraud, earnings management, improper revenue recognition, embezzlement, and other misconduct. She also builds, tests, and enhances corporate compliance programs.
Guy is a former state and federal prosecutor. Guy brings experience from his time in the Fraud Section of DOJ’s Criminal Division, along with decades in private practice, defending clients in white-collar and regulatory matters, counseling clients on compliance matters, and leading internal investigations. He has extensive experience with DOJ monitorships having been appointed as an independent compliance monitor as well as representing companies going through a monitorship. He represents companies and individuals before federal agencies, including the US Department of Justice (DOJ), the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and other federal and state agencies and attorneys general. He also regularly advises boards of directors on compliance and governance issues.
