Winston & Strawn LLP is pleased to have received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2022 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and to have earned the designation of being a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality” for the 14th year in a row. The CEI is the nation’s leading benchmark for measuring corporate policies, practices and benefits related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality.

“We are extremely proud and gratified to have earned this important recognition of our commitment to LGBTQ+ rights and equality for 14 straight years,” said David Sakowitz, co-chair of the Winston PRIDE affinity group and co-chair of Winston’s Capital Markets practice.

This year, which marks the 20th anniversary of the CEI, 1,271 companies participated in the survey. The Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2022 CEI rates companies on four foundational pillars for LGBTQ+ equality:

  • Non-discrimination policies across business entities
  • Equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families
  • Supporting an inclusive culture
  • Corporate social responsibility
