Winston Celebrates Washington, D.C. Mentors of the Year

Winston & Strawn’s Washington, D.C. office mentoring program recently honored its 2015 “Mentor of the Year” award winners based on glowing nominations by their associate mentees. Our formal mentoring program is designed to guide associates through their careers at Winston and incorporates a discussion of diversity and inclusion issues.

The D.C. office runs a Traditional Mentoring Program that pairs junior- and mid-level associates with a senior-level associate or partner. The program facilitates open discussion of firm culture, processes, and expectations, including guidance on leadership and partnership goals.

The “Mentor of the Year” award spotlights outstanding mentors who have consistently provided access, insight, and practical advice to young lawyers by offering guidance and encouragement to their mentees in their pursuit of excellence and professional growth.
