Winston Announces Enhancements to Leadership Team

NEW YORK – Winston & Strawn LLP is pleased to announce a number of enhancements to our leadership team that will lend strength and focus for the effective management of the firm.

Michael Elkin, currently the firm’s New York office managing partner, has been named vice-chairman of the firm. In this new role, Mr. Elkin will bring depth in leadership and help execute on the firm’s strategic initiatives. Drawing from his track record of success, in terms of growing our office and firm presence in New York and his numerous practice area achievements, Mr. Elkin has proven an invaluable member of the firm’s leadership team and a natural fit to lead the firm forward.

Jeffrey Kessler and Dan Webb, formerly co-chairmen, will continue to guide the firm’s strategy and direction as co-executive chairmen.

Tom Fitzgerald, formerly managing partner, assumes the position of chairman of the firm. During Mr. Fitzgerald’s tenure, Winston has experienced remarkable growth and achievements, with the addition of nine additional offices on three continents.
