Winston & Strawn was a proud sponsor of the Goodman Theater’s production of Inherit the Wind—a three-time Tony Award-winning play—which ran from September 14 – October 20, 2024.

Based on the Scopes “Monkey” Trial of 1925, Inherit the Wind is an iconic courtroom showdown that advocates for a balance between faith and reason. To support the production, Winston hosted an evening at the Theater with the firm’s top trial lawyers for family and friends. We were excited to premier our mini-series, “Verdicts & Voices: Trial Lawyers as Storytellers,” at the event as it explores an important commonality between a trial and a theater production—the art of storytelling.
