The DC Circuit Judicial Conference Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services recognized Winston & Strawn at its virtual “40 at 50” Judicial Pro Bono Recognition Event.

The annual event honored 25 local law firms for their outstanding leadership in pro bono service and encouraged members of the bar to provide pro bono legal services to persons living in poverty in the District of Columbia. The firms recognized had at least 40% of their attorneys dedicate 50+ hours in 2021 to providing free legal representation to individuals with limited financial resources or to charitable organizations. Winston & Strawn was one of only two firms that received additional recognitions for the following:

  • 40% or more partners hit 50 hours
  • At least 50% of attorneys dedicated 50+ hours
  • At least 60% of attorneys dedicated 50+ hours
