Winston & Strawn Partners Instruct at ABA Litigation Section’s First Diverse Lawyers Trial Academy

The ABA Litigation Section held its first Diverse Lawyers Trial Academy in Boston on November 19-20. Charlotte partner, Kobi Kennedy Brinson, served as instructor for the inaugural trial academy. This new program, modeled after practice trial exercises, utilizes extensive preparation materials and drills which give young attorneys the stand-up experience they need to become first-chair trial lawyers while utilizing experienced faculty and federal judges as instructors in this simulated trial setting.

The Litigation Section will conduct regional programs that provide training opportunities to diverse lawyers and women attorneys. Winston & Strawn’s counsel will be called upon to attend and participate as faculty as this event tours the country.
