When Judge Alan Albright took his spot on the bench of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas in 2018, he made it clear Waco would become a new hub for patent litigation for Texas and the country. Judge Albright’s first patent jury trial in the district came to an end last week with a defense verdict.
