Winston & Strawn and Black Connect Presented Business Formation Basics to a National Audience of Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners

Winston & Strawn, in partnership with Black Connect, recently presented a virtual Business Formation Basics webinar on business and legal considerations when forming a new business entity. The presentation covered a range of topics including:

• Types of business entities
• Limited liability and when it applies
• C-Corps. versus S-Corps.
• Tax implications
• Restructurings

The Business Formation Basics training was the second program in a series of empowering legal education courses presented by Winston & Strawn in partnership with Black Connect, a nonprofit dedicated to leveling the economic playing field for Black Americans.

The Winston team responsible for the Business Formation Basics training includes New York Partner Bryan Goldstein, New York Associate Austin Leach, New York Law Clerk Cara Buchicchio, and New York Senior Technical Support Technician Tiffany Cheng.
