Winston Achieves WILEF Gold Standard Certification

Winston & Strawn is pleased to announce that we have been named a 2018 WILEF Gold Standard firm. WILEF—Women in Law Empowerment Forum—Gold Standard Certification is a key metric for assessing progress toward achieving greater diversity with respect to women in large law firms.

WILEF Certification emphasizes the leadership roles attained by women partners, rather than a firm’s policies or practices or overall number of women partners. WILEF Gold Standard firms are those with 300 or more practicing lawyers in the United States in which women represent a meaningful percentage of their equity partners, their highest leadership positions, their governance and compensation committees, and their most highly compensated partners. 

This achievement is a direct result of the firm’s commitment to meaningfully increase the diversity of our Executive Committee and leadership in implementing the Mansfield Rule.
