Earlier this month, Tom Melsheimer—managing partner of Winston & Strawn’s Dallas office—spoke with Law360 about the firm’s decision to establish a presence in Waco, Texas. Waco, a hub for intellectual property litigation, will not have a full-time staff. Instead, it is meant to serve as a meeting place for clients and a workspace for attorneys trying cases in the courtroom of U.S. District Judge Alan Albright.

As Tom explained in his interview, “‘There's no one staffed in Waco…But we expect over the course of the next year it will be regularly utilized for client meetings, trial prep, things of that nature.’”
