Tom Fitzgerald Comments on Dan Webb Being Named in the “Top 10 Lawyers for the Past 10 Years”

Winston & Strawn firm managing partner, Tom Fitzgerald, was quoted in an article titled "Top 10 Lawyers for the Past 10 Years," published in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, January 29, 2010.

The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin named Dan Webb one of the top ten lawyers of the past decade. The article enumerates just a few of Webb's accomplishments including being named Chicago Lawyer Magazine's 2008 Person of the Year, and his representation of high-profile clients, including former Governor George Ryan, former NYSE chairman Richard Grasso, William Cellini, Verizon and Cisco. "Dan has been described as perhaps the most sought after litigator in the country. [He] certainly continues to be widely considered among his peers as one of the leading go-to trial lawyers. Dan's achievements are truly remarkable for their volume and complexity. He is a trial lawyer in the truest sense of the word," said Fitzgerald.

The article also discusses Webb's less public accomplishments including his commitment to a community service project that raised more than $1 million to boost the compensation of Chicago's underpaid legal-aid attorneys who supply the city's poorer individuals with otherwise unaffordable legal counsel.
