Terry Dee Receives Shout Out in Litigator of the Week Column

Winston & Strawn partner Terry Dee was featured in The Am Law Litigation Daily’s Litigator of the Week column on July 26, 2024.

This recognition follows Terry’s 2023 Litigator of the Week recognition for securing a pair of wins for client Motorola Mobility in long-running cases claiming radiofrequency radiation causes brain cancer—including a ruling in D.C. Superior Court knocking out all six of the plaintiffs’ proposed causation experts. In 18 follow-on cases, D.C Superior Judge Alfred Irving Jr. this week granted summary judgment to Motorola and other handset makers based on the lack of expert testimony. Terry and the Winston team led the briefing for the defendants—30 separate entities represented by 24 law firms.
