Susan Nash Speaks at 4th Annual Employer-Health System Direct Contracting & Strategic Partnerships Summit

Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Partner Susan Nash will speak at the 2018 Employer-Health System Direct Contracting & Strategic Partnerships Summit as part of the Employee Health, Benefits, & Well-Being Congress + Expo in Boston on July 30-31.

Susan will speak on the “Legal Issues in Direct Contracting: The Employer Perspective” panel, which will address the following topics:

• Overview of employer-provider direct contracting models
• The application of ERISA to direct contracting arrangements
• HIPAA privacy and data-sharing issues
• Plan design and incentives under the ACA and other federal laws
• Integrating carve-out arrangements with existing health plan design
• Risk mitigation strategies through contracting
• Application of state regulations

Susan is highly regarded nationally in the area of health care reform and health and welfare benefits. She has extensive experience working with employers, vendors, and health plans on health care strategy, design, and implementation of health and welfare benefit plans.
