Steve Gavin Receives “Making a Difference Award” from LINK Unlimited

Winston & Strawn partner Steve Gavin received the "Making a Difference Award" from LINK Unlimited at the Lawyers Lend-A-Hand to Youth My Hero Awards Reception on September 16, 2014.

LINK Unlimited Scholars provides educational college preparatory opportunities for economically disadvantaged African American high school youth. This award is presented each year to honor an individual in the legal profession for making a difference through his contributions to a mentoring/tutoring program as a volunteer, mentor, or board member.

Steve Gavin is based in the firm’s Chicago office and advises clients in a wide variety of corporate finance and merger and acquisition transactions, and regularly counsels boards of directors and special committees of both public and private companies on corporate governance and oversight issues.
