Ricardo Ugarte Speaks at ICC’s Annual Miami Conference

Ricardo Ugarte, managing partner of Winston & Strawn's Geneva office, chaired a panel at ICC's Annual Miami Conference – International Arbitration in Latin America. The theme of this year's conference was "Revisiting the Basics," marking the tenth anniversary of the International Chamber of Commerce's Miami Conference.

On November 13, 2012, Mr. Ugarte led the panel focusing on costs. Specifically, this session discussed:

• Legal fees: how much is too much?
• Applying the reasonability and cost-efficiency test
• Experts: Cost v. Necessity
• The relevance of the parties' internal costs
