Pete Morgan Awarded C-PACE Facilitating Transactions – National Award

Winston & Strawn Partner Pete Morgan was awarded the 2019 C-PACE Facilitating Transactions – National Award. This honor is given to the individual or organization that enables more efficiency and volume of quality C-PACE transactions in 2019.

Pete Morgan was recognized for playing a crucial role in establishing PACE – both residential and commercial – in the alternative investment industry. He is also credited with getting the industry to the securitization stage and creating an efficient framework for the capital markets. Pete designed and closed sophisticated and elegant bond, trust certificate and asset purchase structures for C-PACE. When originators needed a structure for financing pre-development and construction of PACE assets, he designed and closed various credit facilities and capital call lines. Also in 2019, he drafted the Legal Criteria Section of DBRS’ PACE Rating Methodology.
