Olga Loy Discusses Tax Reform Implications at SBIA Western Private Equity Conference

Olga Loy, a partner in Winston & Strawn’s Tax Department, spoke at the SBIA Western Private Equity Conference on April 18 in Santa Monica, California. Her panel, titled “Tax Reform Implications - A Practical Guide for General Partners,” addressed the significant changes in the world of tax. Panelists shed light on the impact of the new tax law, including how to form and structure private equity and mezzanine funds going forward, as well as how best to structure future M&A transactions.
Olga concentrates her practice on tax and structuring aspects of private equity and venture capital fund formation and complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, buyouts, recapitalizations, debt and equity restructurings, and executive compensation.
