Susan Nash Discuss “Legal Hot Topics in Employee Benefits Design” at the 2019 Bay Area Global Benefits Conference

Winton & Strawn Partner Susan Nash will speak at the 2019 Bay Area Global Benefits Conference. Susan will present on “Legal Hot Topics in Employee Benefits Design” on May 1^st, which will explore innovative retirement and health benefit design features under a legal lens. This session will cover a range of topics including: direct employer-provider contracting and unique issues under California law, legal considerations for on-site clinics and telemedicine, reference based pricing and out-of-network reimbursement methodology, 401(k) matching contributions and student loan repayment, the pros and cons of 401(k) in-plan Roth conversion, and a discussion on whether outsourcing fiduciary investment fund selection duties to a 3(38) investment manager is necessary.

Susan has extensive experience working with employers, vendors, and health plans on health care strategy, design, funding and implementation of health and welfare benefit plans.
